Dr. Jennifer Lyle is originally from Rising Sun, MD, but moved around a lot while growing up. She recently relocated back “home” to be closer to family and friends.
Dr.Lyle started at Hickory Veterinary Hospital in the summer of 2016. She has been a fantastic addition to our veterinary staff, as many of our clients have greatly appreciated her kind and gentle manner.
Dr.Lyle graduated from Virginia Tech with an undergraduate degree in Animal Science and then received her DVM (doctorate of veterinary medicine) from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a special interest in canine rehabilitation and completed her certification through the University of Tennessee, as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, her menagerie of pets (4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 sheep, and a duck), running, and is very active in her church.
